    2 min•Calculators

Run the DTE or traveling expense calculator

Filing a trip? The Calculator / Learn about Traveling Expenses tool walks you through per diem and transportation computation, and the DTE Calculator gives you a straight number once you know your travel dates and destination.

    3 min•DTE Calculator Guide

Master the Daily Travel Expense (DTE-2026) Calculator

The interactive DTE tool computes official travel per diems aligned with Executive Order No. 77 (EO 77) matrices. Complete your travel liquidation profile smoothly using these steps:

    • Select Destination: Type or select your destination region, province, or city. The calculator automatically adjusts rates based on EO 77 regional classifications (e.g., ₱2,200 for NCR/CALABARZON, ₱1,800 or ₱1,500 for other regions). Ensure your travel exceeds the required 50-kilometer radius threshold.
    • Input Duration: Specify your calendar days under the duration profile.
    • Configure Itinerary Profile: Use options like 1 Day Before or 1 Day After to accurately assign transit-day allowances.
    • Account for Exclusions: Toggle free amenities (such as provided accommodation or complimentary meals) to dynamically deduct percentages (up to an 80% maximum limit) from allowances.
    • Read the Screen: Track calculations in real-time via the retro VFD display showing standard, checkout, and total breakdown values.

    1 min•Directory

    Search the University Telephone Directory

Need to reach a specific office or colleague? The Telephone Directory under Tools & Resources is searchable by name, office, or local number — faster than forwarding an old PDF.

    2 min•PRINCESS

    Ask P.R.I.N.C.E.S.S. a well-formed question

PRINCESS answers best when you give it the specifics: the item or activity, the office involved, and — if relevant — the date or fund source. Compare these two questions:

    ✗ Weak “budget question”

Too vague — no item, no office, no context. PRINCESS can only guess.

✓ Strong “Ano pong OOE code ang gagamitin para sa printer ink na binili ng CBA?”

Names the item (printer ink), the office (CBA), and the exact thing needed (OOE code).

    ✗ Weak “travel expenses?”

Which trip, which dates, which fund source?

✓ Strong “Magkano po ang per diem for a 3-day official travel to Cebu this March, charged to IGF?”

Gives the duration, destination, timeframe, and fund source.

Open PRINCESS from the button in the top navigation, or go directly to princess.kabanbso.uk.

    1 min•Documents

Know where circulars and executive orders live

For primary source documents — DBM national budget circulars and university executive orders — go to Tools & Resources. These link out to DBM's official site and the university's shared drive, so you're always reading the current version.

    Try it: browse circulars →
