A project of PUP's Finance Sector, built to make budget literacy something every employee has access to — not just the people who work in finance.
Budget questions at a university this size never really stop: what OOE code covers this purchase, how is a travel claim computed, which circular applies. Those answers used to live across scattered folders, printed circulars, and long email threads.
KABaNata brings them into one place — a reference library, a set of working calculators, and, more recently, an AI assistant that can answer in the moment instead of after a days-long back-and-forth.
PUP Resource Intelligence for Navigating Campus Expenditure and Strategic Spending. It's an AI assistant trained on the university's own circulars, OOE tables, and procurement references, built so staff can ask a budget question in plain English or Filipino and get a sourced answer.
